The Company was established in 2008 with the objective to explore and operate underground mines to produce potassium chloride (KCl), also known as potash fertilizer (K), for use in the agricultural sector as one of the primary crop nutrients. Thai Kali’s primary project is the Dan Khun Thot Potash project located in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand. The project was began by exploring for potash in the Dan Khun Thot District where carnallite and sylvite resource deposits were identified with economic ore grade. Thai Kali’s started construction of the mine in 2015 and plans to begin initial production in the year 2017.
